A simple, tasty dish that is very present in Minas Gerais kitchens.


Ingredients

  1. 800 g of pork ribs in pieces
  2. 500 g of cassava in pieces
  3. 1 chopped onion
  4. 3 chopped garlic cloves
  5. Juice of 1 lemon
  6. 2 tablespoons of oil
  7. Salt and black pepper to taste
  8. Chopped parsley to taste


Preparation method:

Season the ribs with lemon, salt, and pepper and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Heat the oil in a pan and brown the ribs well.

Add the onion and garlic and sauté until golden.

Cover with water and cook for 30 minutes.

Add the cassava and cook until tender and the broth thickens.

Finish with chopped parsley and serve.
