A crunchy and very traditional sweet at Mineiro parties.


Ingredients

  1. 500 g of raw peanuts
  2. 2 cups of sugar
  3. 1/2 cup of water
  4. 1 teaspoon of baking soda


Preparation method:

In a saucepan, place the sugar and water.

Bring to medium heat until a golden caramel forms.

Add the peanuts and mix well.

Continue stirring until the sugar starts to crystallize.

Add the baking soda and mix quickly.

Pour onto a greased surface.

Spread and let cool before cutting into pieces
