One of the most traditional dishes from Minas, full of flavor and very comforting.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of beef ribs in pieces
- 500 g of peeled cassava in pieces
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Chopped green herbs to taste
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sufficient water for cooking
Preparation method:
In a large pot, heat the oil and brown the ribs well.
Add the onion, garlic, and tomatoes and sauté until a sauce forms.
Cover with water and cook for about 40 minutes, until the meat starts to soften.
Add the cassava and cook for another 25 to 30 minutes, until tender and the broth thickens naturally.
Finish with chopped green herbs and serve hot.
